Google has no solution at the moment but recommended a workaround for the time mean:
For Macs: Select "Quit Google Drive" from the sync client menu. In Finder select "Go" --> "Go to Folder...". Enter this, exactly: ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Drive Open the folder titled "cloud_graph". Delete the file titled "dict_2.db". Restart the desktop sync client. For PCs: Select "Quit Google Drive" from the sync client menu. Select "Choose File", and navigate to: %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Google\Drive Open the folder titled "cloud_graph". Delete the file titled "dict_2.db". Restart the desktop sync client."
